"Rudy Fernandez is a plus/minus machine":

I always thought the team played better with Rudy on the floor, even when he couldn't buy a bucket. He hassled Barea into irrelevance in the playoffs and could be counted on for a key steal or rebound (he handily outrebounded Batum in the Euro championships last year). Most importantly he was unselfish and always looked to get the big men to score.

    Sigh.

And yet he was a throw-away in a pointless trade.

He's the biggest flop since Greg Oden.

He came into the NBA with enormous hype and didn't come close to living up to it. Though, I think McMillan and his style really stunted his development but Ginobli he is not.

Way to respond to the stats. I hope he left behind his magic sparkles that somehow allowed a deadbeat player to have such a positive impact when he was on the floor.

I personally am really going to miss the eye candy but you can't track that statistically... although it was definitely a plus (no minus) for me. But that's coming from a female fan and probably isn't as appealing to most of you, hah!

If you think about it the trade is kind of funny. Dallas is where they had the two inebriated female fans walk onto the court during a Blazer time out and grabbed Rudy to tell him they loved him. My first thought was... Mark Cuban will do ANYTHING for his team and fans (even the ladies)! :pimp:

I have a feeling he'll do very well in Dallas. It wouldn't surprise me if they start him in place of Stevenson and become that much more difficult to defend.
