    So... I guess we're stuck with him? It was never clear to me what we were to get from MN in the deal.

    I believe he should be, yes. Although there's about a zero percent chance he ever plays in the NBA now.

    Dikembe Motombo had questions about his age for a couple of decades.

    It DOES matter if he's 18 or 24 (of course!) but I don't know that anyone will ever know for sure.

    Can we really blame the Blazers for this mistake? Since they drafted the guy for Minnesota, I'm doubting they did much homework on him. At that point, you have to trust that Minnesota did their homework, since a thorough background check during a 3-minute draft window isn't possible.

    Minnesota needs to honor this trade, IMO. They botched it. Teams should learn to trust the incompetence of David Kahn, though.

    I don't blame the Blazers, really, assuming they followed standard process.

    I agree that MN should honor the trade. Even if they're not forced to, by rule, they should do it to ensure good standing in the GM community.

    I don't see anything on the NBA transactions page saying that any of the trades yesterday are final. Presumably, if the pick is bad, it would stay with Dallas. Welcome back Petteri?
