I'm not sure what good it does to overlap two guys at the 2 spot who can't handle the ball. Typically you want a backup to present a slightly different look. Also conflating Wes' lack of ball-handling with our appearance in the playoffs seems pretty odd -- you seem to be downplaying his weakness or even suggesting that it has no bearing on a player's success or failure at the position.

Look, all I'm saying is that it feels like they're trying to play Nic out of position, if they want to use him as a two then guess it could work out somewhat OK, but it will be less than ideal.

I'm not sure I see Nic as a great option at SG, but I did read something the other day that I didn't know before: he plays SG on the French team.

What are you talking about? I'm not downplaying anything. You siad there really isn't a difference between the 2 and 3 except the 2 usually has better ball handling skills. Someone says he thinks they have the same ball handling skills and you saw that as some compliment to Batum.

I think the point was if the only distiction you see between the 2 and 3 is ball handling skills, then Batunm could jsut as easily be the SG compared to Wes.

I don't agree with all this, I think Wes is a natural 2 and Batum and natural 3, but according to your thoughts of 2 and 3 Batum and Wes could play them equally If ou think they have the same ball handling skills). Right?

I'm just hoping that Elliott Williams can actually play.

I'd suggest to Nic that he go to one of these basketball "academies" or whatever they are (attack athletics) and work on skills like dribbling and posting up.

They need to send him to Tim Grover.

I think Wesley is a short statured 3 ... I don't think either of them of are best suited to playing the two.
