Fuck Qyntel Woods. You know Z-Bo was heavily involved in their dog fighting fiasco. The summer before Qyntel was busted he and Zach used to drive down to Albany to a pitbull kennel. Fuck Qyntel Woods!
I'll never forget that play where he was all by himself, on a 1-0 fast break and he tried to jump from too far out and totally missed the rim and landed out of bounds. But yeah, people who fight pit bulls deserve to get eaten by them. Vick would drown and hang dogs who didn't "perform" well enough. Pieces of shit.
Physically, Qyntel may have been the most athletic Blazer player since Clyde Drexler. Mentally, the guy may have been the weakest player since ...? It was all there for Q. He dominated the summer league, yet he was more interesting in drugs and dogs than he was in playing basketball. Remember when he showed up to an event in Vancouver reeking of pot, as reported by multiple local fans and writers?
Woods turned out to be a Darius Miles with much less mental/emotional strength. Which pretty much explains his flame-out. I thought, and still think, he had a lot of talent. But one of the defining factors in a talented prospect becoming a good/great player is work ethic and focus. The NBA is such a competitive place, jammed with talented athletes...the line between making it and failing is razor thin. Anyone who doesn't pour whatever he has into making it probably isn't going to.
Qyntel actualy had a good run with a Euro team (don't exactly remember which) a year ago. His team made it to the semi-finals of one of the main turnaments. Again, I'm not sure about the details but he seems to have gotten less and was like the 2nd or 3rd option on that team. Can be a role-playing forward of the bench for a team who needs one.
Another interesting note: IIRC his role wasn't exactly of a point-forward when I've seen him but more of a Power-forward. He may have gotten a bit bigger and I remember him playing in the post a lot.

The worst part, as a sports fan (besides being excited about complete scumbags/douchebags showing serious athletic potential), was seeing how Qyntel looked like he was about to put it all together on the court and really step up as a contributor. And then this whole derailed it. Millionaires letting miniscule "thug" going ons derailed multi-million dollar careers. Fucking idiots.
