So - is it just a matter of waiting until the lockout, and then waiting out the lockout? Or can trades be made before that happens?

I'm really going to miss Summer League. Which is pathetic. What are people going to turn to if there's no NBA?

That's what I'm wondering. Will there be trades? Free agency?

Baseball! A good book. Old tapes, movies, dvd's.

It's going to be a long winter!!!

I saved the MIA vs Blazers game from this season to watch over and over and over again!!!!

According to reports last week, the ORL summer league is still on as scheduled. Maybe the Blazers can go there?

IDk, after this Greg thing is settled, we need to focus on the GM search.

There's this, I suppose, but now we've lost Rudy and Koponen we've less reason to care.

Take up watching college basketball. Its a fun game to watch, I enjoy it just as much as the NBA.

...and all you will be a little more educated on prospects if you do and stop hating on players that the extent of your knowledge is what they said on DraftXpress about them.

Not all of you guys of course, but quite a few :)

I've taken your advice, and I've been watching some tapes of old college games, and I think we should really try to pick up this Adam Morrison kid. Seems like he was DYNAMITE in college!

You realize that "Morrison" is also a European name, right? And that there are plenty of true-Blue Americans whose names end in -ich?

Simple xenophobia aside, I guess we'll find out how well he does in Europe when he finally burns through his rookie contract money.

You call it xenophobia. I call it you have a love affair with any foreign player, no matter how garbage.

What's wrong with that? The board needs people knowledgable about foreign players, and I'm grateful for it. I already miss the idea that Koponen will play for us someday.
