Unbeaten German based heavyweight contender Manuel Charr (18-0, 10 KO’s) stopped British heavyweight Danny Williams (43-10, 33 KO’s) in the 7th round on Saturday night at the Lanxess-Arena in Cologne, Germany. The younger Charr kept the pressure on the 37-year-old Williams, punishing him with shots, hurting Williams in the 3rd round and then finishing him off in the 7th with a flurry of big shots while Williams stood nearly defenseless.
