WHO In addition to Felton, Smith and Diebler, Trail Blazers acting General Manager Chad Buchanan and Head Coach Nate McMillan will be in attendance and available to the media. Following the media availability, ice cream will be served while Felton, Smith and Diebler participate in a game of kickball with Boys & Girls Club kids led by Portland Playworks, a national nonprofit organization that supports learning by providing safe, healthy and inclusive play and physical activity to schools at recess and throughout the entire school day. Blazers released a press release. I'm not sure, but I don't think teams are allowed to talk about the specific players unless the trade has already gone through. When the Bayless trade was delayed, they couldn't talk about Bayless specifically for like a week. So by that measure, it should be official.

It's OK though, since the Blazers knew about his pre-existing condition. Preventative micro-fracture surgery is planned, which will keep him out one full season.
