I am trying to watch the press conference on the Blazers tv website and it said subscription failed. I have never had to have a subscription before. Now it does not even show up at all. I can watch the up and Adam show from this morning. Does anyone have a link that I can watch the conference on? Thanks.
I dunno man, but I am attempting to listen to it on the game via web, and they lost their feed as well. Of course, I kind of expect this from this station..
pdxtrailblazers Sorry folks, Internet connection not strong enough to provide a live stream. We'll have it up on blazers.com soon afterward. 26 minutes ago In the meantime, it's on 750 and 1080.
It's too bad the Blazers don't have any connections to technology companies in the region... As our sales guy says every time the e-mails goes out; "What the fuck? We do technologies here, right? We sell the softwares on the webs right? Do we do the internet here? Huh?"
Super LOL at Nate saying he has the PG to run now. It only took him 12 seasons of not having one who could push the ball
I suggest the ignore button for you as well. I take everything you guys say to heart, but after some serious soul searching I came to the conclusion that I am just not going to change. Since I want you to enjoy your experience as much as possible, you should ignore me.
It's funny hearing Nate say that, while Dre is saying that he is happy he can finally run and play through mistakes, rather than lead a slow, methodical offense in his press conf. in DEN.
Ya, that was amusing. I tend to side with Andre given each of their past track records. But I think it's cute how Blazer fans still think Nate will push the ball
Another solution to be sure, and to help with that I will try to end my comments in such a way that it helps with the humor. Like under Nate, the Blazers seem to be just sitting and spinning
I've tried the ignore feature with you for a long time. There are several inadequacies with that, though: people who I don't ignore quote you; you're not a troll, so sometimes you say things of real merit which I'm afraid to miss out on; I sometimes forget to log in before clicking on a thread, and see your posts; you also create threads which I can't ignore the titles of. You mean a lot to this community; I'd say you're the single biggest influence on its behavior. So you probably shouldn't change, or this place would have a totally different identity. I wanted you to know how big an influence you've been on me, and how negative that influence is. Your opinions depress me because they aren't incoherent or fantastical; they aren't meant to troll. They are honestly your take on the facts. And slowly but surely, I've felt myself feeling like your opinions are much closer to the truth than mine. You defend them vehemently, and express them often, so how could they not be close to the truth? I'm sorry for snarking at you over the years. You are probably the most fervent fan of this team on this board, because you hate so much about it but stick with it. I wish I could hang with you, to run at your pace, but I really can't. And you're simply too difficult to ignore to the extent required to enjoy my pace. And honestly, the real shit of it is this is the only forum where I know the *real* trolls aren't patrolling! I need to reassess myself.
Nate would make nash play a slow halfcourt game. Nate HATES turnovers and mistakes and that's what you get in abundance in a running style offence so we wont see a team run tell McMillan is gone. I'm fine with his slow methodical offense as long as it keeps winning and gets us at least out of the first round. If were one and done again I would hope we get a new coach.
I guess it's a matter of what you mean by "push the ball". Do I expect Nate to suddenly become D'Antoni? Not hardly. I do think, however, that with a more mature squad and one that has been converted from a Roy-based Iso model to a group of guys who excel in the open court, he's going to be inclined towards letting them have a bit more freedom to running when it makes sense. I think we saw a glimmer of that in the last game against the Lakers this season. If you think that it's "cute" that I feel that way, I guess I'll have to live with that. At my age, I'm past the point where I'm too worried what the nattering nabobs of negativism around here think (to borrow a quote from that corrupt old SOB Spiro T. Agnew).
