In reading an article on Miller being happy to be back in Denver, I saw the following: As I was reading the article, the quote about George letting them play just jumped out at me. I know others have commented on Nate being very "controlling" and this seemed to bear that out without making any reference to Nate. Perhaps I'm reading more into it than is there. In the summer Nate secretly holds baby races where he eats the fastest ones. Ask MickZagger if you don't believe me.
Do yourselves a favor. Save your money, time and lives, until the Blazers have a new coach this team will not ever get out of the first round of the playoffs. Nate can't pull this off, he knows it, and so do most fans who know hoops. He has no offense, and for being a defensive minded coach this team can't defend layups. This team is a joke right now from top down! I feel sorry for Crash, LA and the fans! All deserve far better! These are facts, I'm sorry if there are not Rosie, but continuing to sell out the Rose Garden and put money in PA's wallet for this type of product is why we have this type of product!
Hey guys! No worries, Nate's gonna let Felton play the way he likes to play ... honest injun ... I mean it this time.
Nate's been here what, 5 years? In all that time he's not been given a single player as good as he was when he played. Only LaMarcus looks destined for a career that compares with Nate's. And it takes 5 to win. I'll get excited when we have a new owner, and I don't mean Larry Miller.
Andre is as good as Nate if not better, and he had Roy and LA for three years and that turned into what?
George Karl has made it out of the playoffs once in seven years as Denver coach, and he had Carmelo Anthony for his entire tenure in Denver. Plus, he took over a team that was 44-38 the year before he got to Denver, and already had Anthony.
I hope he's happy with the backup PG role there. Last time he was put in that role we all saw how much he pouted and selfish he was.
Yeah, that's the funny thing. Suddenly Miller is going to be a 20 mpg player off of the bench? I hope he starts, though, because it means Denver will be worse than if they start Lawson.
You were clearly trying to illustrate a point about Karl having trouble getting out of the first round, but he's been out of the first round... unlike Nate. In fact, he's been to the WCF and the Finals. Who cares which team or how many times.
Karl's career playoff % (has coached 8 Olympians) - .436 Nate's career playoff % (has coached 2 Olympians) - .412
Nate's been out of the first round. Why is every thread on this board that includes you about denigrating either the Blazers, their coach, their players, etc., while propping up rivals? Are you even a fan of the Blazers? I haven't seen a positive post from you in months, it seems.
