the giants and negative run differential

    holy crap, these giants are a blessed bunch...or are they a cursed lot? lets look at some stats

    30th in mlb in runs (dead last)
    27th in obp
    25th in ba
    25th in slugging

    -4 run differential, meaning, they should be under .500...but they are 10 games OVER .500... what gives?

    pure pitching dominance

    4th in era
    2nd in baa (batting average against)
    3rd in quality starts
    5th in whip

    and this is with barry zito making 17 million a year in AAA, and bumgarner and sanchez having down years...

    just goes to show, who needs hitting when you can pitch with the best of them!

    giants explode for 13 runs against the cubbies in game 1 of the doubleheader and win 13-7!

    POSITIVE RUN DIFFERENTIAL!!!

    +2 for the season lol

    giants win game 2 last night for the sweep! 6-3 the score with zito going 7 innings of 4 hit ball for the win, wilson with the save, and brandon crawford with a game altering gold glove caliber play at short to thwart the cubs rally in the 4th
