Just curious, has anyone that denied climate change is occurring changed their minds about it? Or do you still believe that all is hunky dory climatewise?

    the climate always changes.

we may have an effect on it, but it could be negligible in comparison to the change that would happen otherwise.

I don't know what a "good" climate would be.

Good for humans? Good for the maximum number of humans? Good for fish?

If the earth warms up, there will be massive flooding and loss of life. If we take steps to try to avoid the earth warming up, people will be less able to live comfortably in the mean time.

If the earth warms up, tundra will thaw. Rain will fall in deserts.

Shit will change, and some people will be worse off for it and some people will be better off for it. I don't know who can say what is better or worse, so I don't worry about anthropomorphic climate change, and therefore I don't need to worry about whether it exists or not.

Interesting Indeed. Water shortages will lead to food shortages, and food shortages will lead to World War over water.

Global warming is already quite noticeable here in Beautiful Central Oregon. Springs have been much warmer and wetter for about a decade. Jack Pines, which are predominant here because they like cold dry winters more than other evergreens, are not as prolific as they used to be. Douglas Fir, Blue Spruce and other evergreens predominant on the west side of the mountains are thriving and replacing the jack pines. Experts predict a complete relocation/transformation of plant species in a mere 20-30 years.

Those who think that "man-made climate change" (wasn't this called "global warming" when Al Gore was winning Peace Prizes?) is for real better get China and India on board quick...they're far worse offenders of anything environmental (whether air pollution, carbon emissions, water waste, waste into water, etc) than anyone in the West.

The case to support "man-made climate change" seems to be growing and I was just curious to see if anyone has been swayed. Sounds like the answer is a 'no' at this point.

Ed, I think anthromorphic has a different meaning than 'man-made'. I'm pretty sure it means giving human characteristics to something (sort of like cartoons where animals take on human characteristics like talking.)

I think our carbon emissions are pissing in the ocean. I look at how active the sun is when I think about climate change.

And no I think if you get into an advanced discussion on this matter, the kind Denny always engages in, "climate change" is a lot more complex than people think. And Many Al Gores are out there that exaggerate our problems on a world-wide scale.

I think the Climate is changing, the issue is whether this is man made. There was pretty good evidence that Global Cooling was going to happen then Global Warming, Global Cooling, back to Global warming (over the past century). The media goes through these cycles.
