That said, that jobs plot sucks absolute ass in terms of strengthening your argument. Bush's "stimulus" was to go to war and the costs are estimated to be 3.7 trillion, not to mention a lot of lost lives. His stimulus had a bigger impact on the economy, but the cost was a lot higher. (FWIW, personally, I think the war in Afghanistan made sense, but the Iraq war didn't.)
What public figure DOESN'T make mistakes regularly? These people talk so much that it's inevitable that they will speak incorrectly or get confused or offend someone. I'm consistently surprised that people of all political stripes are continually surprised by this, and that so many of them take it as an opportunity to act superior. Ed O.
