I follow all the Blazers who have accounts on Twitter and with the exception of Rudy (who I know isn't a Blazer anymore) none of them have tweeted anything today. Just kind of odd because Wes, LMA and Armon are usually pretty chatty on Twitter.
I wouldn't think that there's any legal reason why they can't...Twitter is a personal thing, like a telephone, not an NBA thing. Perhaps the union is asking players to keep a low profile to avoid any PR gaffes?
I was thinking that or maybe a Blazer employee was the one who set up the Twitter accounts for the players.
Well fuck! I just refreshed my browser and up popped a bunch of tweets from Blazer players, lol! That's really strange, I've never had to refresh my browser before for Twitter.
Technically, Nolan Smith and Armon Johnson aren't part of the NBA though As for others, I would think the NBAPA would tell them not to tweet about the NBA, but I can't imagine there is a legal reason why they can't
Now they're threatening re-tweets with a fine! So I just learned what they are for nothing! http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ba...et-a-1-million-fine-just-for-a?urn=nba-wp6008
