WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch is going to have to settle for fighting WBA super middleweight champion Andre Ward in the Super Six finals in Atlantic City, New Jersey instead of fighting in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 29th. Froch, 33, had been hoping to fight in Vegas because that was one of his dreams. But with the fight taking place in Atlantic City, Froch is going to have to settle for that. Ward also wanted to fight in Vegas, preferring that venue to Atlantic City.

Froch defeated 42-year-old Glen Johnson in his semifinals bout at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City in the Super Six tourney to get a shot at Ward. For his part, Ward easily beat Arthur Abraham by a lopsided 12 round decision in the semifinals to get to the finals to face Froch. Ward is considered the favorite to beat Froch. However, there a lot of boxing fans who think that Froch has the power to beat Ward.
