Such moral outrage? That's a pathetically written article, irrespective of whether an Ohio Representative is a dirtbag or not. Ed O.
Well, he talks the talk, but can't walk the walk. That makes him one of about 98% of all politicians. Although in this case, I do find it humorous.
i think this journalist was bitten by a morally superior republican as a child that said this kinda shit never gets old
Gotta admit, the viagra is a really nice touch. The only way this could be better is if the hooker was a heavily armed 300 lb transvestite with Tourette's syndrome. And if there was a Amish family in the back seat. And if the car stereo was blasting Captain & Tennille's "Muskrat Love". Ok, there are a bunch of ways it could be better. But it's still pretty good. barfo
** I in no way condone what this guy did, and he'll have to live with the circumstances, which may be losing his job ** That said, this hack of an author with an anti-moralistic beef to him/herself isn't doing anyone any favors by writing poorly and emotionally in attempting to tie morality in social behavior to law-breaking in personal behavior. Yes, Ohio has fetal homocide laws and this "family man Catholic" (when, exactly, did that become a bad thing?) wanted to extend that same logical argument to abortions. I fail to see how getting a DUI with a stripper riding shotgun breaks that logic. I also fail to see how the other 49 co-sponsors are now irrelevant b/c this guy made some stupid decisions. Championing a law that is good for society is far removed from being a hypocrite in life. Are we going to repeal all of the laws and measures that Weiner voted for, and pass all the ones he voted against? And for all of those in society (or on this board) that think that your faith-of-choice is now false b/c some clown did something illegal, hypocritical, wrong or stupid--the Bible says that that's what man is like, and has been like since the beginning of time. Christianity isn't about "Be Perfect Like Me!"...it's about "we're all sinners who need grace, and I'm the worst one I know b/c I know what goes on in my heart and head"
many would disagree that the laws championed by this Drunk Driving menace are good for society... I certainly would. You are aware that a decided majority of Americans favor the right to Abortion aren't you? I didn't follow the Weiner stuff (or his career) very closely, but I don't think he promoted himself as being Mr. Family Values and morally superior to the common American... thats whats funny and hypocritical here. Whats also interesting is how common it seems that those who hold themselves up as examples against the "sins" of society are so often the one's doing the sinning. Hell Utah leads the country in on-line porn consumption http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn16680-porn-in-the-usa-conservatives-are-biggest-consumers.html STOMP
exactly, thats the humor, like the snooty preppy chick who gets drunk at the party and passes out naked in the yard after she shits herself. if the town drunk does that, nobody cares and as far as the porn goes, its common knowledge that the more uptight you are outwardly, the more of a fucking perv you are behind closed doors
I don't know this guy from Adam, but I don't think he's saying he's morally superior to anyone. That's your slant on it, probably, imo, because you've shown to be militantly against religion. That's fine. The author may make sense to you b/c he/she's militantly against people threatening the right to kill fetuses. That's fine, too. But I fail to understand how you can say that this guy has no ability as the elected representative of his constituency to attempt to legislate criminal behavior. There isn't a single person on the planet able to live perfectly and justly and rightly and in accord with their neighbors on their own, and because of that society has been set up to regulate how people live together and interact with each other, in everything from murder laws to speed limits to campaign contributions. These regulations govern what society has deemed expected behavior from anyone attempting to live in it. As for this particular topic, you'd disagree that there's not a leap of logic from saying that it's homocide to kill a baby while inside the mother, but if the mother's trying to get rid of it, it's not actually a human? Whether or not you agree, the law of Ohio says that the fetus/baby/thing being killed is homocide if someone else does it, and he sponsored legislation saying that that should apply to mothers trying to kill it, as well. "Right to abortion" is an inane and vague thing to bring up. There is no "right to abortion", and certainly not any majority of people who think it's ok. Now, if you say that the majority of people think that a 6-week-from-conception fetus isn't a human being, and therefore able to be removed like a cyst, I'll grant that. What I won't accept is anyone saying that there's a majority of people that think a 37-week-old fetus should be able to be aborted and that the mother has the "right" to do so. It's certainly illegal to do so. Why are you making this about the people instead of the problem? What does Utah leading the country in porn have to do with anything? Is it legal?
good grief, what are you talking about Brian? Seriously where do you pull this BS from? your retort is so wildly all over the map I don't where to start. STOMP
i have never snorted viagra, but i heard strippers love it, it makes their clits visible through the thickest leather thong
