ESPN.com reports.I don't know what to say. I think Ben should of at least waited longer to see if Detroit would have given him another contract, but I think the one we gave him was fair enough.

Just heard right now, this is a big blow to Detroit. I had a feeling Ben would leave, they always leave for more money. While Detroit isn't looking good at the center spot, Chicago is loaded. Ben WallaceKirk HinrichBen GordonAndres NocioniLuol DengChris DuhonTyrus ThomasLoaded.

Long live the Pistons! Damn, Bulls are the Top 3 in the East now. Just because wallace is gone doesn't make the Pistons not good anymore. This is how it still is in the East1)Pistons (R-Wallace, Prince, Billups, Rip? Just because B-Wllace is gone doesn't mean they're not best. they still are.)2)Heat (shaq is aging, GP might retire, Zo might retire... they still have J-Money, Flash, Shaq even though he wont be amazing. he'll still get 20/9-10. james posey, haslem, antoine walker, plenty of guys.3)Bulls (Hinrich, Duhon, Chandler, nocioni, gordon, Deng, wallace.. tell me they;re not dangerous)

Rasheed is aging, Billups isn't young either, and they no longer have the dominant big man which championship teams have. It's a big hit.

Bulls will be the 4th seed next year IMO. Watch out, they will be very scary next year. They also have a great defense, with a great defensive coach. Man, nice signing is all I can say. Paxson has done an incredible job with the franchise, and has pulled them into respectability again.

You might as well write in the Heat as the 2007 Eastern Conference Champions. Chicago hasn't improved their offense and Ben isn't going to fix that either. The Pistons are now the 4th best team in the East.

i disagree i think they did improve their offense with the addition of Thabo Sefolosha cuz they now have a 2 guard with some height who can score and defend.Bulls gave the Heat a pretty good fight during the playoffs so i wouldnt be too quick to automatically guarentee the heat will be thereBulls are gonna be very good this year im just afraid they wont have the money in the future to resign hinrich and noc since they both only have one year left on their contract.

I just read this on real gm. heres the story if anyone wants more info.http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives...ded_to_chicago/The Bulls are gonna be great now next season. They came into the 05/06 season w/ two main problems. Their frontcourt and veteran leadership. They have already fixed both. Great job by the Bulls. They didn't really overpay him either any more then they had to. I dont think Ben is worth 13 mil. a year but i dont think they could've gotten him any cheaper. not bad deal at all.

How's Tyrus Thomas' defense? I've never seen him play.

His defense and his whole game reminds me a lot like Marion. He could even be better in the future. He uses his athleticism to get blocks and make plays. He should do well there as a rookie.I think this move makes the Bulls an ECF team.

Contenders? They are still way too young in my opinion...Ben Wallace is a nice piece but let's not get carried away, this team doesn't not have a consistant/starter 20ppg scorer...

Wow, the Bulls are doing great so far this offseason. Tyrus Thomas, Thabo Sefolosha, now Big Ben? That's sick. The Bulls will be a top 3 team in the east in 2007, watch out for the Bulls! For Detroit - HUGE blow. Now what? They need to get a center badly... badly. Nazr Mohammed?

BCB Andres Nocioni can score 20ppg and as far as a C goes they have Dale Davis, McDyess and Sheed can play Post also I dunno about Contenders yet unless Rookies Step up and Nocioni picks up where he left off trying to be the best the best player on the team.
