Would you trade Elliot Williams and whatever for WorldPeace?

Lakers get younger and we get another legit defensive stud. Can you imagine this lineup on defense?

    PG Felton
    SG WorldPeace
    SF Crash
    PF Aldridge
    C Oden

Sometimes Batum could replace Felton in that lineup and WorldPeace could run the point.

World peace is old now. He has lost a step both offensively and defensively. He would play at a position were we already have 2 defensive studs (Batum/Crash) I don't see how we could have him at the SG position, he isn't nearly quick enough to guard SG's and not to mention he is a complete headcase and is owed quiet a bit of money.

Is this a joke? I don't even care that Elliot Williams is probably worth nothing, Artest cannot sniff the jock strap of any starting SG in this league. Run the point?! Are you high?

If I could have one wish, it would be World Peace. I don't know about moving him to guard, though. Some say that World Peace is best used as an enforcer.

WorldPeace played the 2 for Houston, very effectively. He is still a top notch defender. Lakers had internal issues last year so you didn't see him at his best. Bowen played title winning D when he was older than WorldPeace.

Camby, Oden, Crash, and WorldPeace are all defensive player of the year contenders. Throw on Batum and Matthews and we can stop anyone.

Remember- only 1 year ago, WorldPeace was the star of Game 7 of the NBA Finals.

You can't be serious, Who's going to create their own shot? We would be a complete jump shooting team, with really not even a single stud 3 point marksman, maybe deebler but that was in college. We need someone who can light it up, we have enough defense around the court, we need a kevin martin type guy. Not more defense, unless we're talking about 7foot athletic freaks.

WorldPeace can create his own shot. Phil just stuck him in the corner in LA but at Houston and Sacramento and even Indy, he did a lot more

Maybe if this was 8 years ago, and before Ron started to go off the deep end (productivity wise).

    Hello darkness, my old friend
If Oden is healthy, we'll have him run the point.

And World Peace is not a top-notch defender anymore. He's lost a lot and is mediocre. In addition, he's terrible offensively but thinks he's quite good, which leads him to waste a lot of offensive possessions.

I haven't jumped on the Elliot Williams bandwagon, but the truth is that as far as World Peace has fallen, Williams could pretty easily be as good or better. Which is not the same as being good.

No. He is not an effective SG, and I like our SF's. We need a back up c/PF and a back up pG. I would use all assets for those first.

No. He's old. He's an idiot. And we would have to give up a few other players to equal the salary necessary to make the trade work. It'd be EWilliams and Wes to get close to his salary!!!

    No.

There's no way to put a value on World Peace ... and it's fleeting even when you attain it.
