A little bit. Neither is really a PG. Something that bugs me, though: I keep seeing him listed as 6'4". He's not even 6'2". (Yeah, yeah - that's barefoot and "nobody plays basketball barefoot". But your height is YOUR height, not variable on how stacked your soles are.) By contrast, Roy is over 6'5" barefoot.

Only basketball does that...most sports have cleated shoes...I'd be a 5 foot 8 hockey player...if you include the 6-inch blades and 3-inch helmet clearance...

Yeah, but that measurement was with cartilage. Now he is only 6'3".

Faried will be a star in most systems and especially Karl's. Oh well, I can console myself that McMillan would have slowed him down to nothing, so it doesn't matter. Might as well ruin Nolan Smith instead of Faried.

In all these tapes, he slows down his defender and then sneaks in. Controlling the tempo is good when you can con the other side to play your speed, bad when you can't and you have to pass too much before shooting outside (offense) or have to foul them (defense).

I won't know which he is till I see him in the NBA.

On both offense and defense, he seems passive unless the situation allows him to slow things down. A Roy/McMillan type of player. I see why the Blazers valued him more highly than mock drafts did.

His head never got over the rim in any of those dunks. Plus, he was the tallest player on the floor. What was that, a noon pick-up game? I've seen people at Bally's or the Hoop dunk like that. Hell, Mustapha Hoff is almost 40 now, and he can still dunk like a pro when I've played with him.

Austin Rivers is amazing. How bad was this year's draft? Kyrie Irving is not a #1 overall pick in a draft with any of the other drafts the past 10 years, including next year's draft.

I like the explosiveness of Nolan Smith as well. The NC pro-am league is no joke.

Poor Julius Hodge, the only reason most people know of him is because CP3 punched his crotch in college. I recall Canzano mentioning that in 05 prior to the draft as something to be wary of, as a possible indicator CP's future character issues.

Never take these videos seriously. I made one of these for Przybilla and Ime Udoka that made them look like Shaq and Vince Carter!

Well, there's that, and there is also that he got shot in his hip and legs by 4 bullets in a drive-by shooting his rookie season in Denver and never fully recovered. He was first-round a draft pick, and that pretty much ruined his career. The Blazer-related portion is that he was traded to Milwaukee along with Earl Boykins for Steve Blake.
