Wake Forest has suspended center Ty Walker and forward Melvin Tabb indefinitely for a violation of departmental rules, coach Jeff Bzdelik announced Monday. Walker scored 3.6 points a game with 3.5 rebounds in his junior season last year. He started nine games for the Demon Deacons. Tabb was dismissed from the team Feb. 8 for the remainder of last season for conduct detrimental to the team. He averaged 1.6 points and 2.0 rebounds in fewer than nine minutes per game as a freshman. He played in 14 games and was held out of four games at the end of the fall semester for academic reasons.
