As much as I travel for work, I have never really had to change a flight before. Working in SF this weekend, and the company I'm working for booked my return flight Sunday morning at 6AM!!!!!!!!!! Wondering, when I check in to fly down there tomorrow afternoon, can I see if I can change my flight to one closer to noon? There should be no charge right? It would almost be like I missed my flight in their eyes, correct?

and no. you will have to pay like $50..probably more since the noon flight might be full or it probably at least is a higher fare than your flight.....should do it now though on the phone.

Get up early. The company probably gave you that crap flight because it was cheap. Changing it is likely to cost you some money. I flew out on a 6:00 AM flight last Saturday from PDX back to DEN, so I know the pain. Of course I didn't help matters by drinking heavily the night before. I wouldn't recommend flying with both a hangover and a three year old at that time of the morning.

Be a man and fly it. I just booked a SD to NYC for 6:55 AM next month.

The earlier the flight the fresher the lube for your Homeland Security cavity search.

Pick out which of your kids you least like as they will be used as payment for the short-term notice change fee. If you don't have any kids, get cracking, this is why you need kids, to be used as payment for goods & services.
