The rumors floating around about Manny Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz having been fired has turned out to be false, as news reports just released are saying that Koncz is still very much a part of Pacquiao’s team. For some boxing fans the news that Koncz is still with Pacquiao will be a bad thing, as he’s someone that is disliked by many of Pacquiao’s fans for some reason. However, nothing would be changed even if Koncz was let go. He’s not the one picking Pacquiao’s opponents. He’s not the one that selected 39-year-old Shane Mosley for Pacquiao in his last fight, and he sure didn’t pick Joshua Clottey or Antonio Margarito for Pacquiao either.
