One night after Luis Mendoza tossed a no-hitter for the Kansas City Royals' Triple-A affiliate, Will Smith and Kelvin Herrera combined to do the same for their Double-A team.

Smith went the first seven innings in Northwest Arkansas' 1-0 victory over Arkansas on Tuesday night. He even got some help from the first triple play in club history in the sixth inning. Herrera then pitched the final two innings to preserve the team's first no-hitter.

Mendoza's performance Monday night came in Omaha's 4-0 win at Memphis.
