    My former company has a location four blocks from the blast site. These nutjobs tried the same thing in Stockholm, but it as a dud.

    Now shots are reported at a youth camp. Some terrorist apparently dressed as a police officer started shooting kids within the past hour with a machine gun.

    A day of terror for Norway. These Amish are getting out of control! I say it would be appropriate for the TSA to immediately start hand inspecting every baby's diaper, plus doubling up on 80 year-old grandmothers in the USA.

    Police stormtroopers are about to land on Utoya island from helicopters. Shooting still going on. Eyewitness describes shooting from his position on the mainland: “There is a little war going on out there”

    There was another Tweet where that group disavowed claiming it. Also there are reports that the shooter was 6'3" and ethnically Norwegian.

    It's possible that both of those things are true AND that it was part of an Islamist plot, but I'd rather wait for more evidence before I start ascribing blame.

    On the other hand, the Norwegian government seems to be going out of their way to point out that it might not be Islamist-based violence, and that strikes me as odd.

    seems reasonable. Why repeat our 9/11 mistakes and blame a party/country who wasn't responsible?

    having read a few of the comments sections in the news story accounts of this, some blood thirsty types are grabbing their pitchforks and torches and ready to seek revenge. Why appease those idiots with a rush to judgement? Those responsible will still be on the planet tomorrow.
