A couple of months ago, I raised the question of what losing in the playoffs would do to Rose. There aren't very many examples of young stars leading their teams in the playoffs and those that exist are not bright and shiny. Lebron led his team to the NBA finals in his fourth season and since that has been a real mixed bag in the playoffs. Howard led the Magic to the finals in his fifth season and has been in a tail spin since. I think the big question for this upcoming season will be how Rose responds to the brutally difficult playoffs this past year. People here seemed pretty positive about Rose's resiliency but I think we underestimate the effects of making to the conference finals and failing. Losing is a bitch. Let's all hope for the best.
