Yes I did get a response. BlazersEdge is up for it. Who I am still waiting for a response is the Blazers themselves. I have asked to have it at the Blazer's practice facility and have invited the Blazers to put together a staff/employee team. Also maybe include a ping pong tourney on the infamous Blazer ping pong table. Twice the Blazers have told me they are going to discuss this in a meeting either last week or this week. If next week passes with no response from the Blazers we're just going to pick a time and date and meet up with the guys from BlazersEdge at a park somewhere on the west side of Portland. We'll play a little basketball, BBQ and talk basketball. If anyone has an idea for a good park let me know.
Why, is your BBQ that bad? Maybe you should just bring soda pop. . But seriously I'm trying to put together something for all fans of all ages and body fat percentage. Playing hoops against BlazersEdge is just a small part. If we can't have it at the Blazers PF we'll see if we can get Brian Wheeler or maybe Mike Rice to show up. Gabriel Park seems nice, what does everyone else think of that?
not from food, but from injuries on the basketball court. I figure people can run fast enough to the nearest garbage can or tree if the food is bad.
as far as weekend games go looks like 07/30 08/20 are the only ones left.. the rest are on Wednesdays and Fridays. One other thing though I just remembered.. My Grandma just started Chemo to where she has 3 weeks of treatment, and 1 week off, and on that one week off she wants us to take her to the coast that weekend. Not sure if that would be her first weekend off from it though, so cant really tell you on that one that far ahead. Sorry to be picky lol.
