Do we add in the FA Market? We currently only have 11 players, so we need some more. There are a few candidates, but I would go with Trevor Ariza and Lorenzen Wright. Ariza is an athletic, lanky guy with good defense. He could help us out in the areas we are trying to approve upon. Lorenzen could do a good job either starting or backing up Rasho, plus we need another decent center. Maybe Flip Murray too..We need more 3 point shooting I think with the loss of James and Charlie too..and we could use someone to ignite us when needed..
How about Devon George? Decent outside shooter and nice role player. The Raptors are pretty thin at the 3 spot too. He would also give them some experience.
He is experienced, but I want more then just a role shooter. Maybe Stephenson or Ariza. Those are the two guys im looking at. And maybe Flip Murray too, for some shooting..
Stevenson would be nice for you guys. He can't shoot the outside shot but he is an excellent defender and he can score 20 feet and closer. I like Stevenson. You guys would too, especially on the defensive end. Put a lineup of Stevenson and Graham in there and that's a nice looking defensive wing lineup.
The players mentioned are all veterans that would be quite costly and the Raptors probably won't get them without overpaying.I would try my luck with those undrafted free agents.Juan Jose Barea (PG, 6-0) would be a good addition to be our 2nd/3rd PG. He averaged 21pt-8ast-4rb a game and he is the player of the year in his NCAA conference.Justin Williams (PF, 6-9) would be a shot blocker off the bench. Pretty much like Pape Sow with BLOCKS. He averaged 10pt-10rb-5blk a game and he is the 2nd leading shot blockers in the entire NCAA.Steven Smith (SF/PF, 6-8) could be a backup SF. He sounds somewhat like Joey Graham. He averaged 21pt-8rb a game and his game is more like a PF than a SF. The key is if he can develop some SF game, which most people are in doubt, but his NCAA average looks good and I would probably give him a shot for the minimum.
We dont need another Euro pg. Ukic will be coming over soon anyway. And we dont need another Power Forward either, because we have Humphries and Whaley behind Chris Bosh. We dont need much else there.
Jared Jeffries wouild seem to be a pretty good fit. If you guys need some defense, which you do, you should probably take a look at him.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CB4AllStar @ Jul 5 2006, 11:21 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>We dont need another Euro pg. What the hell are you even talking about? I never suggested one PF they should pick up. Jeffries is a SF. Barea is a pg. All i said was that Humphries and Whaley are horrible. Chillax.

It seems the Raptors are looking at signing 3 FAs:1) Garbajosa2) Eddie House3) Anthony ParkerLooks like that's gonna conclude our offseason signing.
Some FAs I would like to see coming to Toronto are Bonzi Wells, im a fan of his game and think he would fill in the void we have at the 3 and graham can play behind him. Also from the NBA I would want to see George in a Raptors uniform, however I feel in order for Toronto to acquire Wells or George we would have to overpay them. If we're looking over seas I would definitley want Anthony Parker and Garbajose. I hope however that BC leaves the Raptors with cap flexibility for next year as there is no one player this offseason that i believe can impact the raps in such a way to transform them into contenders

We already have Mo Pete at the guard spot. We just need a backup guard.
I would really love to see the Raptors buyout Roko Ukric's contract so he could come play for the raptors this season, he is a 6'6 PG!!! Uros Slokar too I think would be a nice addition to the team but I think that playing ball in Europe for another year or two would be really beneficial as it would allow him to develop and then come to the NBA instead of throwing him into the NBA.
We dont need Slokar. We have Bosh and Humphries, who is playing pretty well in Summer League. Also, we are reportedly interested in Garbajosa, and we will be signing him according to some articles. We dont need Uros yet.
