BLANKY is a Portland transplant, and led the team to 54 wins with a young roster. The team has gone down in wins each year since he left.

For that, he was crushed by this board.

Blanky didn't lead anything. The season in question he constantly got made to look like foolish on defense by even average point guards, had no penetration ability and shot a career % from 3. The game plan that season was bring the ball up and give it to Roy then stand in the corner and wait. Roy carried this team that year and had such an amazing year that the new SG to rule the NBA for the next ten years was pretty much him and Wade with #3 being an Kobe whenever age cost him the #1 spot and no one else even remotely close.
Any point guard with a decent 3 shot would have done the same thing Blake did on the court. I will give Blake props for being one hell of a locker room guy and a tough as nails PG.
If you look at Blake at the beginning of the next season and what he did on the Lakers he underwhelmed compared to 2008-09 which just happened to be a perfect storm of Health/Shooting for Both Blake and the Blazers.
