Caron provides shooting which the mavs already have. On the other hand we have Tyson Chandler who is the only one that fills his role as a power center. If you look at all the past championship teams, they all had excellent centers. In my opinion the PG and the C spot are the most important
Caron is more of a scorer than a shooter. He can create his own shot and take pressure off of Dirk. That's valuable and something that Dallas will need. With that said, Dallas needs to re-sign Tyson. And I really don't think it will be a problem.
I was glad for Dallas when they won. Always respected Mark Cuban. I have always liked Chandler from the early days of playing with the Bulls all the way until now. I wish him continued success.
Dirk deserved to win a ring, i hope they go for a threepeat. Its a long shot i know but as long as they stay hungry they can do it
