New York Mets left-hander Johan Santana has been diagnosed with fatigue in his surgically repaired left shoulder and does not have new damage in the area, the team announced Thursday. Santana will resume throwing when he regains strength in the shoulder. He was examined Thursday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan after complaining of discomfort in his shoulder earlier this week.
