Top Fuel points leader Del Worsham raced to the qualifying lead Friday at NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways. Worsham posted a 3.830-second run at a top speed of 319.07 mph in his dragster to move into position to claim his fifth No. 1 qualifying position of the season if the performance holds through Saturday's two qualifying sessions.
