I thought 75% of the movie was excellent... and then the last 25% was like they didn't know how to end it.

I rented The Music Never Stopped the other night. As a lover of "classic" rock, really enjoyed that one.

Rented Due Date last night. Laughed my butt off. Sure, it was stupid humor. Nonetheless, after the week I've had, I was ready for some mindless comedy.

Along those same (needed mindless comedy) lines, rented The Tuxedo for this evening. We shall see. :)

I saw Planet of the Apes. 8/10

Decent movie with a well developed script. Has a bit of everything. And the graphics looked amazing. I'm not into SciFi at all, but this was legit.

I would like for someone to explain to me how I bunch of monkeys, regardless if they're smart, could overthrow our country?

"Rise of the Planet of the Apes" was originally called "Rise of the Tea Party"...

Last movie I saw was Secretariat, which I give 2.5/4 stars, entertaining, not a ton of smarm, but everyone patting everyone else on the back all the time bugged me.

Finally saw Drive last weekend. I had high hopes going in, but had a feeling I was going to be disappointed. I was way off. It may be the best film I've seen all year (although I haven't seen too many yet). I'd probably give it 8/10.

Anyone hear of the woman who is suing the makers because the movie wasn't like the Fast and the Furious. Fucking hilarious.

It's not out yet, but I'm looking forward to the Tin Tin movie. I grew up reading the comics and was pumped when I heard Spielberg/Jackson were making it. I was skeptical at first. I saw footage at Comic Con, but was still skeptical, although less so. Now that this trailer is out and it has been released in Europe to pretty good reviews I'm pumped again. It may or may not do great here, but I'll be in line the day it comes out.
