He has formed together a very good young nucleus. He needs to add a few more vets to the team though..
Well I don't know about the best young team in the league, but it's one of them.Orland has a pretty good young team, and the Mavs are overlooked when talking about young teams becaus they'e been good for so long.But I'd actually take the Mavs as having a beter overall young team, with the Bulls a close second. The Mavs have Dirk and Terry who are 28, and Stack and Damp, who are just a little older than them, but the rest of the team is just as young. Howard, Harris, Diop, Daniels are all under 25, and with Dirk and Terry locked up for many years at just 28...they'll be contending just as long as that bulls team.Paxon is a pretty damn good GM...but the Bulls still need that NBA Great player...Big Ben will have that impact, but they don't have a Wade, Bron, Melo, Dirk, Kobe, or a player like that yet...I'm not sure if he's on the roster or not.
Why is Darius Songalia on there, he's a unrestricted free agent and most likely to be not resigned because of the amount of guys they have now.
Thinking about that lineup defensively I piss myself. They're more than covered at every position. BEST DEFENSIVE TEAM SINCE THE JORDAN PIPPEN HARPER RODMAN BULLS!I might just become a Bulls homer.
Thankfully I've always had Chicago as my 2nd favorite team (well, since 2003) and no one can call me a bandwagoner when I'm rooting for them to take the East (then get thrashed in the finals by the Lakers :winkglasses: ).
Paxson has definently shrugged the notion that you can't build through the draft, and seems to have the Blazers taking his rebuilding blueprints.

For me, it's the lakers or it's nothing. I do however watch the nuggets simply because of melo but i must stress, i'm a carmelo fan. In regards to a superstar player, we do not need a superstar player. Fans nowdays are accustom to a player dominating and leading his team, but as the current NBA changes, it is quickly becoming more team oriented. The only factor I dont like is, if we are ever going to make a finals, we will need a low post presence, no matter how good our defense is. You win games from the inside-out.
Paxson has only been the GM of the Bulls since 2003, so he managed to bring the Bulls from being one of the worst teams in the nba to one of the best in a matter of 3 years!!
