Nice! Drexler and Porter were a great backcourt, for sure. I wish they were still playing for the Blazers!!

Still, I wonder if winning percentage is the best indicator of greatness. Drexler and Porter played on a very talented team, which boosted their winning percentage, but what about guys like Chris Paul and Deron Williams who haven't had that luxury?

One would have to give serious consideration to Magic & Scott, Ainge & DJ, Jordan & Paxson, Stockton & Hornacek/Malone too. I'd, personally give the edge to Magic & Scott.

If you're going to include a bunch of white players who were merely good, Sonics Gary Payton and Brent Barry were just as good.

Byron Scott is vastly overrated because he got the usual national coverage for being a Laker. He was nothing compared to the guy he replaced, Norm Nixon.

Did you click the link? Jordan and Pippen is listed as
    Top Wings (SG and SF)

Pippen played PG, Jordan played SG. I'd say that makes them a back court.

So you don't think they were the top SG & SF combo in the game?

Then what position did John Paxson, B.J. Armstrong, or Steve Kerr play?

Agreed. Both are HOFers--better combo than Drexler/Porter

Everybody should just post the two best players from their favorite team, pretend they were a back court, and then say it was the best back court ever.

I vote for Kobe and Shaq as the best back court ever.

I did see Shaq dribble up the court once.

Yao and McGrady were good. Also Manute and Muggsy.
