Some sad news: outstanding MMA coach and trainer Shawn Tompkins passed away today. He was 37. Tompkins, from Tillsonburg, Ontario, established himself as one of the top kickboxing and MMA trainers in Canada over the past several years, helping to guide the careers of many UFC fighters including Sam Stout, Mark Hominick, and Chris Horodecki. Early reports indicate he may have passed in his sleep.
