I think this is a pretty good replace for Big Ben. But they will still miss Big Ben a lot. And the Spurs are screwed for now atleast.

Yeah I think in certain situations Rasheed should play center now to start games beause of Mohammad not being a great overall player. Rasheed at center could cause some problems for other teams and Mdyess is much better at scoring than Mohammad. The Pistons will be much weaker on defense next year no matter what their lineup is.

McDyess will probably get alot of minutes next year; they just got Nazr for some more depth at those positions. I'm guessing that they will let Sheed play Center and McDyess at the 4, or the other way around for a few games. We'll see what they choose to do though.
Antonio McDyess starting for the Pistons is not out of the question. I remember two seasons ago when Ben Wallace was injured, Dyess came in and averaged somewhere near 17 points, and 9-10 rebounds. Although our overall strength would be down if Dyess starts, I think our offense would improve. However on that note, I would rather have Nazr start, becase he is a true center.
