Well guys, I think it is time to say that Chris Bosh is better than JO. WHat do you guys think? JO is alot more injury prone than Chris. Chris is now the better scorer in my eyes, and has the better shot, is more athletic and talented. JO is the better post player than CHris, but Chris can attack better than JO. JO is also better at defense, but I give Chris the nod because JO was always injured last year..
I don't know about that. I think Chris Bosh has to be considered an MVP cantidate atleast once, before I give him credit over JO.
Good post, very orginal. I'll assume JO only had an unlucky season and still go with him. He beats Bosh on defense which is important for a PF in this leauge.

JO was an MVP candidate a couple of years ago. But that doesnt matter at all. Jermaine O'neal is still better than Chris Bosh at the moment. Jeramaine O'neal has the best footwork in the league and is a better shot blocker and defender. I see Bosh being better than JO if not next year, the year after that. But as of right now, ill go with JO.
heh, you guys' choice. I'd rather go with Bosh because he is better offensively. He is a better shooter, attacker, and he is alot more athletic than O'Neal. Also, Bosh scores more on a much higher percentage. And also, Jermaine is very injury-prone now, and his defense crashed last year because of his injury problems.
What makes him better offensivley than Jermaine O'neal??? JO was injured for most of this season so he had a worse year than ussual. If he is healthy for the entire season next year, he will have his normal good numbers.
Im not cutting JO slack because he was injured the season. Thats his fault. Bosh had the better offensive year by far, and has more skills than JO. Bosh has the better jumper, he is alot more athletic (JO couldnt get around when hampered by injuries), and he has the great ability of faking his defenders out and going right past him. Also he has a very good post game for a guy who is only 22.
Reputation doesnt mean sh*t in this. We are talking about who is the better currrent player. That would be like saying that Gary Payton is better then Nash because he's had the better career. It's not fair in this comparison.

Its his fault by playing hard and getting unfortunate. :no1: Chris Bosh averaged 22.5 points per game and Jermaine O'neal averaged 20.1 points per game. So i dont see how you say he had a far better offensive year than JO did. And Jermaine O'neal was not 100 percent healthy for most of the games that he played in. Jermaine has FAR better post moves and is a better defender.
Woah woah, JO is an athletic beast. Quick and powerful his powerjams are insane. I wouldn't say he's less athletic than Bosh.

Hey, lots of players get injured. Im not going to cut them slack for it when we are comparing players. And arya, JO was hampered by injuries, and let alone Bosh is more athletic. Watch some tapes of Bosh. He is an athletic freak.
At this point in both of there careers, you have to say Jermaine O'Neal as of right now. He is still an All-Star no question (probably the best PF in the East right now), has excellent footwork, very good defender who will block your shot if you come around him, he can shoot from 15 feet, he is a much better player on the block, and to top it off he has been an MVP candidate and has advanced in the playoffs. He is also a leader and an NBA icon type of guy, very intellegent, great with the fans, A+ personality. However, I will agree with ballerman in saying that Bosh will end up being better than JO. He just has that god-given ability to be a superstar. He is an incredible young player and is definitely a guy anyone would love to build around. But he has done nothing so far winning wise (not saying it's his fauly, just saying) and I say JO is better as of right now.
Good post. I agree with you for the most part. I would have to agree that JO is better when healthy, but that's the thing, he's never healthy anymore.

The year that Jermaine scored higher then Bosh he only played 43 games, so that isnt really legit either.Jermaine has NEVER had the fg% Bosh had this year..They are equal rebounders, as Bosh lost to Jermaine in the rebounding race by .1 of a rebound, and beat out Jermaine's rebounding total last year...Stop talking out your ass..
I'll take a healthy, younger Chris Bosh with room to grow still as a basketball player over an injury-riddled finished product in Jermaine every day of the week.
