Kinda hard cause I'm pretty new to MLS. Agoo might be a good one to answer. Alexander did get capped (played for) the USMNT earlier this year though which is good. I'm hoping this trade is kinda Chris Johnson for Carl Landry.. does that help?

I'm not too familiar with Alexander. FC Dallas has probably been the best team over the past two seasons and he's made 28 starts for them, so he's definitely a player. He also fits what the Timbers need as he's a central player. I think if the Timbers go 4-3-3 with Perlaza, Cooper, and Nagbe up front, Alexander joins Chara and Jewsbury in the middle. It will free up Chara to be an attacking player, while Jewsbury stays at the defensive presence. Alexander would be the box-to-box type.

As for Hall, it seems that he has fallen off. He was pretty highly rated as a rookie by New York, but not a lot going on since.
