If this is true, it's exactly what I was worried about when LMJ stayed for another year. And now with DAT on the team I'm sure Seastrunk was looking at how many touches he was going to get and said "fuck it, I'm out".

According to Rob Moseley and other sources, LS may transfer due to playing time. He wants to play and he's good enough to play on many teams. Just not on this Oregon team. He's anywhere from 3-5 on the depth chart. He was an oustanding 5 * recruit and wants to play. Understandable. I wish him the best.

Tlong thus far fails the maturity test.

By some reports Lache has been outplayed by others other than DAT, LMJ and Kenjon and even another player who I cant remember his name. He might not have been cut out for it here. BEst of luck to him unless he plays us.

I guess to further explain my comment it.. he could have been looking at touches.. but he also could have looked at it as "I'm not gonna beat any of these guys out, so "F it I'm out"

Makes sense. He's a potential starter at Baylor. At Oregon, he might find himself as a 4th stringer. De*Thomas has been tearing up the practice field.

    Wish Lache the best.

Not enough room for his talent. Got beat out by another freshman in the depth chart. So much promise by the UO staff to join the team but not enough room. That's what happens on a program more in the spotlight in recent years.

Bummer. All the hype, and he never even gets a touch in a game. We've all heard about De'Anthony tearing up camp, but he's 160 lbs. How can he be an every down back? I mean, LaMichael is undersized big time, but his strength and heart make up for his lack of size. And he's 185 lbs!! Thomas looks more like a scat back to me. So what happens when LaMichael leaves after the season? I just assumed Lache would step in as a Soph. and be the guy and Thomas his back up. There's plenty of carries to go around in this offense. That could have been a special tandem.

Players shouldnt be given the keys just because of how many stars they had next to their name leaving high school. You gotta earn it in college. I think Seastrunk thought Oregon owed him something by him choosing them.

It was posted on a blog that he wasn't understanding the offense and was currently #5 on the depth chart. Can't say as I blame him. I wish him well.

If that's true, that's pretty sad. I mean, if L. Blount can learn this offense . . . really, it's not that intricate of a playbook. It's repetition and speed.

In addition to his willingness to be closer to home, Seastrunk had also appeared to have been passed on the running back depth chart by incoming freshmen De'Anthony Thomas and Tra Carson, as well as redshirt freshman walk-on, Ayele Forde, making Seastrunk the projected sixth stringer in the Oregon backfield. After practice, Ducks running backs coach Gary Campbell seemed to suggest this had as much to do with Seastrunk's transfer as Seastrunk's desire be closer to his grandmother.

"Most guys who aren't up in the top of the depth chart think about going somewhere else and taking their talents elsewhere," added Campbell.

To be fair to Blount, he was pretty sharp. I sat next to him in a number of classes and the only thing I concluded was poor judgment in his case.

Am I going to anger everyone by pointing everyone out that technically Greg Oden has been a better bargain than Seastrunk?

Well this really bums me out. I wanted to at least see the guy get some burn in a game.
