As a former investigator, I'm able to comment on this with a little insight. There is never an official timeline. Press releases regarding arrests can be used to get cooperation and voluntary interviews - which happen. Anyway you slice it, it seems to be serious and these players could face felony battery charges (similar to assault found in ORS). It could influence not just the upcoming game with Oregon, but the LSU season and these guys' future. I hope it all works out for the best and Oregon faces a full LSU roster...
