The Seattle Seahawks have lost former starting tight end John Carlson to a season-ending shoulder injury, coach Pete Carroll said following practice Tuesday. Carlson, who caught two touchdown passes in the Seahawks' wild-card playoff victory over the New Orleans Saints last season, will undergo surgery. "It's a big loss for us," Carroll told reporters.
