I really hope Amir can play at a level where he can be on the bench, because he is an exciting young player. Nik Caner-Medley is a nice player too.
No idea, I need to do my homework on him.EDIT: He is Chaunceys brother. He didn't play this last season, but in 04-05 averaged 10 points and 6 assists.Wayne Wallace is the nephew of the now Chicago Bull Ben Wallace.
yeah chauncey's brother is nothing like Chauncey. the major difference is that Chauncey doesnt suck. And the Wallace who is playing is related to Ben Wallace...we should put him on the team just to have Wallace x2 again.
Yeah Wayne Wallace is the Nephew of Ben and Rodney the brother of Chauncey. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Wayne Wallace - a 6′9″ Ben Wallace clone, this nephew of the Detroit Pistons defensive superstar also attended Virgina Union University, winning the inaugural CIAA Defensive Player of the Year award in 2003.Rodney Billups - the younger brother of Pistons starting Point Guard Chauncey Billups, Rodney was a member of the 2005 Detroit Pistons VSL team. At only 5′10″ the younger Billups has had to endure and conquer living in his big brother?s shadow.Rodney played for the University of Denver Pioneers for 3 seasons, finishing the 03/4 and 04/5 seasons with 10+ points and 5+ assists per game. More of a true passing point than his elder brother, the younger Billups also makes his mark on the defensive end as a ball hawk.source</div>Heresome info on the rest of the pistons summer league team
I sort of hoped Frank Williams could erupt soon. I remember when he was drafted, like in 2002 pretty early to the NY Knicks. But, with Acker and Amir playing amazingly, he's likely to get cut.

Summer league has finished. Pistons recorded a record of 2-3. Alex Acker played great. Amir showed progress. J-Max is ready for NBA minutes.I am ready for some real hoops now.
I say 20 games into the season, we give Chauncey the night off and let Acker start and play at least 40 minutes. But seriously, the starters can't play that much. With Flip Murray, Rip and Tay won't be on the court as much. Acker and Hunter can relieve Billups from minutes. McDyess can take minutes from Nazr and Rasheed. We just can't have the starters playing 40+ minutes a game.
