August is over and the Arizona Diamondbacks, of all teams, have a six-game lead in the NL West. Miguel Montero hit a three-run homer for the second straight game and the Diamondbacks -- the last-place team in the division the past two seasons -- won their ninth in a row by beating the Colorado Rockies 4-2 on Wednesday night.
