I love this kid. He is a very good shooter and can stick with people defensively. His shooting just blows my mind really.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>WBOY.com - Mike Gansey went undrafted on Wednesday, but less than a week later, the Miami Heat have signed the West Virginia guard to a two-year deal.

    He'll make $412,718 in 2006-2007 and $687,456 in 2007-08.

Roughly 10 teams contacted him after he wasn't selected in the draft.</div>
Nice pickup. He will provide shooting when he comes in, help spread the floor, and he could become a rotation player off the bench sooner than you may think.

They have some pretty sick shooting off the bench with Kapono and now Gansey.

Nice, good signing for us. We're getting him cheap and we're desperate for some more bench depth right now. Hopefully we can get some solid play out of him.

Hes playing in the summer league right now, I haven't seen him play so I can't really comment on his game but having young prospects is always a good thing, especially now with Shaq getting older.

I've never seen him play either, this is actually the first time I've heard of him. But the Heat definitely need some firepower on their bench and they also need more young players to incorporate into their team for the future so great choice by the Heat.
