Before this season with the back problems (this is becoming the statement we say before every Tmac thread haha) Tmac 9 times out of 10. The Truth is good but Tmac is close to Kobe as a player. Atleast top 5.
Right now I'd take Pierce because he's not a question mark with injuries or whatnot, although I think T-Mac, when healthy, is the better player, and maybe the only player who can come close to Kobe as far as overall talent goes.
we've had this comparison before. Just like we've had half of the other comparisons before. Like i said in the last thread, TMac is the far more skilled player, when he is healthy he is the obvious choice. But Pierce is more reliable, and could be called more of a winner.

I would take tmac, hes more explosive, better scorer and can do whatever he wants to on O... hes faster and the only thing peirce might have over him is heart and staying healthyTmac any injury free day

Right now i'm definatly going with Paul Pierce. I don't like judging peoples heart or injury problems because I really don't know him or how the injuries affect him but McGrady just doesn't seem as tough as i'd expect him to be. It seems like every week McGrady has new injuries and back spasms and he's just not reliable. Paul Pierce is in his class and on top of it he's a rock in terms of consistancy.

Everything he said is true. Pierce is just so much more reliable and consistent and that's something you need. This wasn't T-Macs first big injury proned season also so it's not like this is a one time thing.
wow that is a tough one. Im going with Tmac in his prime.. he is just unstopable when he is healthy..

Hes a good basketball player who backs that up every single night.
Pierce cause he shows up for every game and he doesn't ask for a trade even though he plays for a crappy team.

Its one of those habits I cant break. Same w/ the rule like person and I. I always say person and me. I suck at breaking habits.

You're a fool. I'd say confident is a better description, and he's getting 27/7/5, one of the clutchest players in the game, and has patience enough to stick around on a rebuilding team. If anything i'd say he's VERY underrated.
