    Some talk that Tito Ortiz vs. Rich Franklin could happen. Ortiz ducked Franklin in the 00's (one of the reasons Franklin fought Ken Shamrock).

    New main event of UFC 139 could be Tito vs. Franklin, which doesn't really make sense but w/e.

    Mousasi makes his return at an unannounced Dream event in September.

    F Emelianenko returns at the end of the year in Russia at an unspecified date, time, and place, against a yet to be determined opponent (great announcement, M-1). Supposedly Kevin Randleman is in the running.

    Saw an MMA fighter on Judge Judy. Name was Ombey Mobley. He lost. I wanted to see his record (0-1 MMA, 0-2-2 boxing) so I Google'd him.

    But the internet is powerful. Searching his name turned up his (lengthy) arrest record, dating profiles, MySpace, his gym and occupation, etc..

    Don't put yourself out there, kids.

    I don't know if I'm a big fan of the Guida/Henderson fight being added to the UFC on Fox card, just because the only fight guranteed to be on the card is Junior vs Cain. This is a big time fight, probably making the number one contender for Maynard/Edgar. Even though it could be streamed on facebook, I would much rather watch it on a PPV main card, or something like that than on my computer screen.

    ^ Do you get the feeling Velasquez/dos Santos will go five rounds? I doubt it myself.

    So if it goes two rounds they can easily fit in the Bendo fight which I figure will go the distance.

    Makes sense to me.

    Jeff Monson says he's fighting Fedor on November 12th in Russia. Date ring a bell? Same day as UFC on FOX & Pacquiao's fight. Busy day for fight fans. Monson's won eight of nine but this is a gimmie fight for Fedor.

    I kind of do want get the feeling that this fight could end up going 4 or 5 rounds. I'm thinking this fight could have shades of Cain's fight with Kongo where he met a vicious striker, and had to fall back on his wrestling to win. Now Cain has improved a ton on his feet since then, but he hasn't fought someone like JDS since then. Also, In that fight, Cain had problems mustering a lot of power off of his top game. We have seen the power he can generate on his feet against guys like Big Nog and Lesnar, but I wonder how his power on the ground will be. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see this fight go a long time.

    That said, I hope that it's just the negative in me speaking and that this fight will do what most others believe will happen, and end in the first two rounds after some fireworks. I would love to see that Bendo fight on this same card.

    In most of his fights Cain is predominantly looking to wrestle and GnP. His ground and pound is pretty vicious. Brock was an exception because he was so much bigger and Cain didn't want to get pinned down and bludgeoned like Mir. The gameplan to keep it standing is an obvious one against Big Nog. I expect that Cain will go back to his wrestling to control this fight and it could result in a long fight.

    Pretty big fight as both are coming off wins and Carwin, Roy Nelson, Schaub are out of the title picture. Winner to face winner of Brock/Alistair for next crack at winner of Cain/JDS?
