Michael Clay injured...

They just showed him on crutches with his ankle taped. Not good. That would be a huge loss.

 

Could be a major loss. Optimistic now because it was just iced and not in a boot. He wasn't carted off. Hopefully a low sprain/strain and he's back soon.

 

It really would be a huge loss. I loved that tackle he had on the reverse.

 

Did he walk off on his own power? I think he did.

 

I didn't get to see it. The feed from FX went out and we missed that whole series.

I wish we knew how long he'll be out. I disagree with Kelly about not discussing injuries.

 

I fully support Kelly in keeping the injuries (and team info in general) close to the vest. Curiosity of fans <<< any advantage gained on an opponent.

As irksome as it is to not know, I support Kelly too. To me, the game means nothing when it comes to these kids health and injuries. Seems like if fans have expectations on a timely return and are given a date, then it doesn't come to pass, they can turn and become outright evil towards that player.

Man, I hope Clay is able to go soon. He's dynamic. The guy just has wheels and is a hard hitter. Him, along with Kiko could have been a very strong point for our D. If it's serious, medical redshirt here we come.
