Hearing a lot of scuttlebutt down here in Texas about Oklahoma moving the PAC. They are not happy about it in Texas

Texas, Oklahoma, OKST, and either Tech or Kansas makes the PAC 16 the best conference in America

Oklahoma, OKST, Kansas and Tech makes us a lot better than we already are

East/West division with the original PAC 8 in one and the Arizona schools with all the newbees in the other would be awesome

I agree. My season tickets would instantly become much more valuable.

I'm hoping for Texas, Oklahoma, OKST, and Tech.

If Texas says no... then I want Oklahoma, OKST, Kansas, and Kansas St.

What would Texas do if Oklahoma and a couple of the lesser (but still significant) schools flee the conference, other than go to the Pac-12/16/whatever? Would Texas go to the SEC? Would they go independent in football and join the Big East for basketball (a la Notre Dame)?

And the Longhorn Network (or whatever it's called) is probably done in any case, I'd think...

Texas is said to be considering Indie, PAC and ACC.

The PAC did an interesting thing in their tv contract. They allowed for regional networks, meaning the Longhorn network could still live on in much the same fashion as it does now

The one thing that perplexes me a bit is that in every article I have been reading it talks about the PAC adding the Oklahoma schools. That only brings the league to 14, and that makes no sense, unless they commit to add two more schools ASAP. My dream would be that Cal gets over itself and the PAC adds BYU and Baylor. If not I'd like to add Boise State. Their research areas suck, but maybe if they pledged their tv money to upgrade???? Nothing would make me happier than to see BSU play Oregon, Stanford, USC and Oklahoma in consecutive weeks. Instead of their current schedule

I don't understand Texas looking at ACC. But whatever.

If I was Texas, had my own network and could get in on Notre Dame's BCS eligibility, that might be the smart move. Scheduling who you want, plus 4 games a year against Notre Dame and the Academies gets you to a BCS bowl...and you don't have to share the money with anyone. Cash money, FAMS!

What I am wondering is whether or not the revenue from the regional networks stays within the region or if it's shared equally across the conference?
