Ohio State starting defensive end Nathan Williams will miss his second consecutive game and possibly more time after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery Wednesday.

Defensive coordinator Jim Heacock confirmed Williams' surgery to reporters after Wednesday's practice. Williams suffered the injury in the season opener against Akron and sat out last week against Toledo.

Redshirt freshman J.T. Moore is expected to start in Williams' spot at Miami. Williams, a senior, entered the season with 89 career tackles.
