Kirilenko and Khryapa sandwich Nic and hammer him down as he goes in for the dunk. 2fts. WHOOOAAA what a play! Nic takes AK off the dribble for a two handed slam!
Thanks for the links! I finally got one to work, Nic just jammed, and announcer said Batum is the MVP of this game.
His best game yet. 19pts, 6/8FG, 7rebs, 4asts, 2blks (shoulda been 3 on that swat he just had in the fast break but refs thought otherwise), 1 stl in 34 mins.
Glowing game summary write up of Batum on the Eurobasket website. Game Hero: While Tony Parker has enjoyed better nights percentage-wise, his influence especially in crunch time was always likely to be significant. But, even he was overshadowed by Nicolas Batum who was outstanding with an all-action line of 19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks. Stats Don't Lie: Russia was trashed 35-21 on the glass. 5. http://sheridanhoops.com/2011/09/16...k-might-dull-memory-of-weis-geting-dunked-on/ We all know of Nic's dunks against Gasol. But he has a history of destroying Spain with ridiculous dunks.

I just watched it from 3 days ago. All game long, Batum would make a nice defensive move (almost always due to long arms) about every 3 minutes. I'm thinking, he's even MORE inconsistent and passive there than on the Blazers. Then toward the end he makes a 3, then with 1:45 left in a close game he makes a difficult turnaround 10 footer, then seconds later he makes another, and his team has a comfortable margin of about 4 points and Greece has to start fouling. 15 points, but just a complementary player. Not someone you can count on. Now I'll keep reading the thread. Maybe he proved me wrong in the next game.

I see that Batum was the difference in the Russia game. You guys are posting his dunk pictures? Don't forget these 2 posts from a week ago. http://sportstwo.com/threads/194536-EuroBasket?p=2657132&viewfull=1#post2657132
