MMA Weekly is reporting that the main event of UFC 139 will see Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Dan Henderson return to the UFC to face former UFC LHW Champion Mauricio Shogun Rua. Henderson fought everybody but Shogun when he was with Pride, including Shogun's brother Maurilo Ninja.

UFC 139 also features the UFC debut of former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Cung Le who faces Vitor Belfort.

    Dope!

I think Hendo should be able to muscle him around and land a KO or decision Shogun. However, this could very well be Hendo's first KO loss.

    Hopefully not Hendo's.

Awesome! Called this in another thread. Great matchup. Crazy that Hendo can barely make 205 yet he seems like the bigger/stronger guy. That may not actually be the truth but hes coming off of manhandling Babalu, Cavalcante (who seems like a big fuggin 205), and Fedor. Should be a great fight.

Shogun is also undersized for light heavyweight so there probably won't be a significant size advantage for either fighter in this one.

Shogun is a much more technical and varied fighter but Henderson has colossal old man power in his punches.

Tough fight to call. Looking forward to it already.

Anyone know if Vegas has odds on this fight yet? I'm interested to see what they say. I'm a fan of both guys. My head says its wayyyyy too close to call but my gut is saying Hendo wins.

^ Haven't seen any yet since the fight hasn't been officially announced... nothing for Cung Le/Vitor Belfort, either.

Ok, first odds I've seen are in, with Shogun at -160 and Henderson at +130. Pretty slim odds.

Henderson vs. Shogun will be a five-round fight. Seems unlikely they'll need all five.
